Today revolved around soaking up the last little pieces of Sibenik before heading off on a bus trip to Dubrovnik. We wandered along the waterfront (again – it’s hard to get enough of it). Neil caught a fish with the help of a local fisherman who spoke not a word of English. We dined on octopus salad, and then got on the bus.
The bus trip went forever – it took us 7 ½ hours to get to Dubrovnik – including all the stops. The bus trip had spectacular views along the Croatian coast – but it just went on forever and ever. A moment of note was the chance of having a beer in Bosnia – so we had to get proof!
We were so pleased to be met by our host at the other end of a terribly long trip – we could have kissed him!!!

I remember Kerry telling me they drove through Bosnia for a very short time on they way to Dubrovnik. That's another country you can say you've visited - all be it for a short time.
I bet those beers went down well after that long bus journey.
Good to see beer is still on the menu on your trip.. tee hee
